KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari returned home after completing a two-day State visit to Bangladesh.
Bhandari held talks with her Bangladeshi counterpart Mohammad Abdul Hamid, on Monday night. At the event, delegates from Nepal and Bangladesh signed four bilateral agreements, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on tourism cooperation, sanitary and phyto-sanitary cooperation, cultural exchange programme, and letter of exchange to designate Rohanpur-Singabad railway route as an additional transit route.
The agreements were signed in the presence of presidents of Nepal and Bangladesh at Bangabhaban, official residence of the President of Bangladesh.
