KATHMANDU: The government is preparing to issue an ordinance to ensure the operation of Janakpur-Jainagar railway, Nepal’s only railway.
The government plans to issue ordinance to this effect as a bill on railway service operation is pending in parliament, which has been dissolved.
Spokesperson at the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Deepak Bhattarai informed that discussions are being held to issue ordinance and bring into operation the Janakpur-Jainagar railway service.
