KATHMANDU: Number of people opening e-sewa account has exceeded four million, as per the company.
The company said that fifteen million people are indirectly using e-sewa services across the country.
Currently, the company has more than 100,000 agents (e-sewa zone and points) while number of merchants in e-sewa is above 185,000.
“We have been able to establish e-sewa as an important medium for financial transaction. We will develop e-sewa as one-stop solution for financial transaction in days to come,” said Subhash Sapkota, chief executive officer (CEO) on e-sewa.
