KATHMANDU: Nepal will receive the first-ever lot of COVISHIELD COVID-19 vaccines from India on Thursday as a part of the Indian grant under the Indian government’s #VaccineMaitri campaign.
Organising a press conference in Kathmandu on Wednesday, Health Minister Hridayesh Tripathi and Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Vinay Mohan Kwatra, made the announcement.
Meanwhile, the government also announced that health personnel, including drivers of hospital vehicles will be vaccinated in the first phase.
