KATHMANDU: Country’s foreign exchange reserves has increased by 7.4 percent to 1506.06 billion rupees till mid-November, as per the Current Macroeconomic and Financial Situation Report of the first four months of 2020-21 released by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) on Monday.
In the US Dollar terms, the gross foreign exchange reserves increased 8.6 percent to 12.65 billion in mid-November 2020 from 11.65 billion in mid-July 2020. 22.
As per the report, reserves held by the central bank increased by 8.6 percent to 1332.06 billion rupees in mid-November while reserves held by banks and financial institutions decreased 1.0 percent to 173.99 billion rupees.
