KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to address the nation today.
After dissolving the parliament and announcing the mid-term elections, he is going to address the people the next day.
Surya Thapa, press advisor of PM Oli informed that he was going to address on television at 3 o’clock today.
After the NCP dispute spiked, President Bidhya Devi Bhandari had dissolved the house of representatives on Sunday.
On recommendation of the Council of Ministers, the parliament (House of Representative) has been dissolved, as per an statement issued by the Office of the President. “The Parliament has been dissolved based on Section 76 (Sub Section 1 & 7) and Section 85 of the Constitution,” stated the President’s Office.
Similarly, the President also informed to hold the general election on two phase: April 30 and May 10.
