KATHMANDU: The emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers called by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has recommended the President to dissolve the parliament.
The Cabinet meeting held this morning at Baluwatar recommended the President to dissolve the parliament, as per sources.
Oli’s move is likely to be challenged in the court as constitutional experts have been saying that the constitution does not have a provision for the dissolution of parliament under current circumstances.
