KATHMANDU: The Manakamana Cable Car in Chitwan, which was closed due to lockdown, has resumed operation after nine months from today.
The Manakamana Cable Car Management Committee decided to open the cable car from today stating to give momentum to religious tourism and overall tourism activities.
According to the committee, worship and cable car services will be available from today while visitors should comply with various health standards.
Meanwhile, the committee informed that more than 1,500 visitors have already visited the Manakamana Temple early morning today using the cable car service.
