Kathmandu: Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has said that the government will move ahead with the private sector.
In a meeting with officials of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries, Finance Minister Poudel said that the government is with the private sector and urged the private sector to work with high morale despite the adversity created due to COVID-19.
Finance Minister Poudel said that the government would encourage and promote the private sector. He informed that they will work with the feedback of the private sector from the time of making the policy to the level of implementation.
Finance Minister Poudel said that he would be in constant dialogue to address the demands and issues raised by the private sector.
Stating that the government has introduced refinancing, business continuity loan and other programs to support and encourage the industrialists and businessmen, Finance Minister Poudel said that special emphasis would be laid on their effective implementation.
Stating that the government will work within the limited resources, Finance Minister Poudel said that the government needs to think of the industrialists and industrialists as the government and by working accordingly, significant achievements can be achieved.
Members of the CNI had suggested effective implementation of the programs mentioned in the budget of the current fiscal year to address the problems created by COVID-19.
