KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has approved acquistion of four microfinance firms.
The central bank approved the the request of Mahila Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited to acquire Jalpa Laghubitta Bittiyta Sanstha Limited and acquistion of Navakiran Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited.
Mahila Samudayik Laghubitta and Jalpa Laghubitta will begin the joint transaction with the name of Jalpa Samudayik Laghubitta while Mahuli Laghubitta and Navakiran Laghubitta will brand itself as Mahuli Laghubitta.
