Industrialist Kishore Pradhan files candidacy for FNCCI Senior Vice-Prez

KATHMANDU: Industrialist Kishore Pradhan, who is also the vice president of the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), has filed his candidacy for the post of senior vice president of the organization.

The federation will hold its 54th AGM on November 26 and 27 with the election being conducted on the November 28.

Pradhan and his panel announced their candidacy to different FNCCI post at an even organized in Lalitpur and filed their candidacy at FNCCI office in Teku.

The FNCCI statute has a provision whereby the senior vice-president of the organization automatically becomes the president in the next election. It means that Shekhar Golchha, who is FNCCI’s current senior vice-president of FNCCI, will be the organization’s president for next term.

As the result of such provision, the election for the post of senior vice president is at the center and aspirants for the post are seen in a race to win the support of FNCCI members.

Another industrialist Chandra Prasad Dhakal had filed his candidacy for senior vice president post in FNCCI almost two week before.
