K&A Engineering Consultancy donates clothes and meals

KATHMANDU: K&A Engineering Consultancy PC, an American utilities consulting firm, distributed clothing items and meals to help support children and lower income families on the occasion of K&A Day – the company’s annual day of service.
The Nepal branch of the energy sector international firm distributed clothes to 64 children of Bal Ashram in Bhandarkhal, Kathmandu and provided meals to more than 100 economically disadvantaged individuals at Swayambhunath.

Rishi Kesh Sharma, director of K&A’s Nepal Operations, handed over the clothes to Priyanka Sharma, director of Nepal Children Association Nepal, in a program on Sunday.

“Each year, we celebrate the day our company was founded as a day of service, and we are happy to have provided this support to some of our more disadvantaged community members,” said Director Sharma.

“The pandemic has limited the amount of support we were able to provide this year, but we look forward to ramping up our efforts next year as we continue to support the communities where we live and work,” he added.

K&A has a worldwide network and its Nepal branch opened in 2019 with four engineers. Just a year later, K&A in Nepal employs more than 20 people in multiple engineering disciplines, as well as in human resources, marketing, finance, and IT support operations. This growth enables K&A to fulfill its goal of doing great work for its clients while helping the communities where it operates.
