KATHMANDU: The Department of Cottage and Small Scale Industries inLahan, Siraha, has revoked the registration of 45 industries in Saptari in the last fiscal year 2019/20.
The department cancelled the registration of the industries stating that they had not renewed their license and also because they had not made any transactions for a long period of time.
Dipendra Kumar Yadav, chief of the department at Lahan, said that it had deregistered those industries that have not done any businessand also not renewed their license for a long time.
According to Yadav, the department registered 1,144 new industries and renewed the license of 445 industries in the last fiscal. The department had deregistered only 30 industries in the previous fiscal year 2018/19.
