KATHMANDU: The government has allowed public vehicles to carry passengers at full capacity from today.
The cabinet meeting held on Monday decided to allow public vehicles to carry full passengers despite the increasing risk of coronavirus infection.
With this decision, the government has repealed the provision for the transport entrepreneurs to charge extra fare from passengers.
Prior to this, the government allowed public transport entrepreneurs to carry passengers at half capacity by allowing them to charge extra fare from passengers.
