KATHMANDU: The foreign exchange rate of major currencies including the US dollar, the euro and the pound sterling witnessed a decline today in comparison to Wednesday.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the buying rate of US dollar at Rs 117 per unit and selling rate at Rs 117.64 per unit on Thursday. The buying and selling rates were fixed at Rs 117.23 and Rs 117.83 per unit, respectively, on Wednesday.
Similarly, the buying rate of the euro has been set at Rs 137.64 and selling rate at Rs 138.35 which stood at Rs 138.11 and Rs 138.82 per unit, respectively, yesterday.
The buying and selling rate of the pound sterling also dropped to Rs 151.02 and Rs 151.80 from yesterday’s rate of Rs 152.24 and 153.02 per unit, respectively.
Similarly, the buying rate of the Bahraini dinar also fell to Rs 310.38 from yesterday’s rate of Rs 310.91 per unit and the selling rate also declined to Rs 311.97 from yesterday’s Rs 312.50 per unit.
