KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Board of Directors of the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) has recommended to extend the tenure of the authority by one year.
The 17th meeting of the committee chaired by Prime Minister and Chairman of the Board of Directors KP Sharma Oli decided to recommend to the Council of Ministers to extend the tenure of NRA.
Chief Executive Officer of NRA Sushil Gyawali informed that though majority of reconstruction activities have been completed, it has been decided to recommend to extend NRA’s tenure by one year to complete the reconstruction of important structures including Dharahara and private houses affected affected by the earthquake.
