KATHMANDU: Nepal Auditors’ Association of Nepal ((AUDAN) has successfully concluded its 5th National Convention through a virtual meeting held on Saturday under the chairmanship of the association’s president Mohan Raj Regmi.
The convention passed the organizational report of AUDAN presented by its general secretary Jhalak Mani Lamsal and financial report of the organization presented by treasurer Balaram Chaudhary.
The convention decided to request the government to amend the Nepal Chartered Accountant Act, 2053 and make it contextual. Similarly, the convention also decided to request The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) to amend the Nepal Chartered Accountant Act, 2053 based on the spirit of new federal system and remove different biased provisions in the act.
