Toll tax set for Muglin-Narayangadh road section

KATHMANDU: The government has fixed the toll tax for the 36-kilometer-long Muglin-Narayangadh road section.

According to the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport (MoPIT), two separate toll taxes have been fixed for small and large vehicles, which the vehicle drivers will have to pay while using the road section.

According to the gazette notice published by MoPIT, buses, mini-buses, trucks and other heavy vehicles will have to pay Rs 55 every time they use the road.

Similarly, cars, jeeps, vans, tractors and other small utility vehicles will also need to pay Rs 25 every time they use the road.

The Council of Ministers had taken a decision to levy toll tax on this road section in July.
