KATHMANDU: Industralist Binod Chaudhary, who is also Nepal’s sole billionaire, has been diagnosed with the COVID-19, Chaudhary informed through a tweet this afternoon.
Chaudhary shared on twitter that his PCR test for COVID-19 positive on Friday. However, he mentioned that he has no symptoms of the virus.
“Dear friends and well wishers . I have tested positive for corona as per PCR test this morning. By the grace of god, so far I have no symptoms. However, I have isolated myself as per doctor’s advise. Whoever came in contact with me please take all possible precautions,” shared Chaudhary on twitter.
Chaudhary is the only billionaire listed in Forbes. He controls CG Corp Global and is Nepal’s sole billionaire. Chaudhary’s biggest assets are a controlling stake in Nepal’s Nabil Bank and CG Foods, maker of the popular Wai Wai noodles.
