Purna Prasad Acharya appointed CEO of CDS and Clearing Ltd

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has appointed Purna Prasad Acharya as the chief executive officer (CEO) of CDS and Clearing Limited, a subsidiary of Nepse.

The board meeting of CDS held today decided to appoint Acharya to the top post of CDS and Clearing Limited.

Earlier, the committee formed to advise the Nepse regarding the selection of a CEO for CDS and Clearing Limited had recommended three names to Nepse for the vacant post, which included Purna Prasad Acharya, Bhisma Raj Chalise and Krishna Giri.

The CEO’s post at CDS and Clearing Limited has been vacant since then CEO Dev Prasad Gupta’s tenure ended a few months ago.
