Hotels, restaurants allowed to serve only ‘take away’ facility

KATHMANDU: The government has banned the operation of hotels and restaurants in light of increasing risk of coronavirus.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Monday decided that hotel and restaurant could only give ‘take away’ service to customers. Spokesperson of the government Yuba Raj Khatiwada said that the decision was taken due to the tendency of crowding, not wearing masks and increasing health risks in hotels and restaurants.
