KATHMANDU: Following direction from the Finance Minister Yuba Raj Khatiwada-led privatization committee to finalize effective modality to bring strategic partner, Nepal Telecom (NT) has started groundwork to prepare the modality for such partnership.
Dilli Adhikari, managing director of NT informed that a committee has been formed to prepare the modality for strategic partnership following direction of the privatization committee.
As per him, the process of bringing strategic partner will be carried through competitions once the modality is finalized. The issue regarding strategic partnership in NT is being talked since almost 10 years. Moreover, different studies have been carried for this purpose.
